What is Hike for Beer?
We are a community of outdoor explorers and craft beer lovers. Our mission is to bring people together through epic experiences with an emphasis on protecting public lands. Hike for Beer is a 1% for the Planet Member and pledges to give back to our environmental organizations in our community.
Our local adventure group in San Diego meets several times each month for a hike followed by beers at a nearby craft brewery. Follow us on Instagram (@hikeforbeersd) and Facebook to find out what trails and ales we’ll take on next!
We are also thrilled to offer private small group tours. Leave the planning to us as we guide you and your group on an awe-inspiring hike and then to a local craft brewery for well-deserved liquid rewards (and of course snacks). Check out our TOURS tab for more info on how to book your adventure!
About the Hikes
Even though San Diego has some of the most notable beaches in the world, people often forget about the amazing trails our city has to offer.
From seaside cliffs and lagoons, to desert mountains and canyons, Hike for Beer will surely find a trail that feeds your appetite for adventure.
About the Beer
What better way to celebrate the completion of an epic trail than to grab a pint and cheers with friends at a local brewery?
Luckily San Diego has over 100 breweries to choose from and we choose our partner breweries carefully based on the quality and passion behind the product.
If your brewery would like to team up with Hike for Beer, drop us a line and we’ll come say hello!
About the Team
We’re Leah and Kira, Co-Founders and Creators of Hike For Beer. We met working together in the beer industry here in San Diego and quickly discovered that we shared a love for hiking as well as exploring our city’s 100+ breweries.
After a few years of taking our friends and family on hiking and brewery adventures around Southern California, we realized that we built a small community around our two passions.
We look forward to sharing more epic adventures with you in the future!
Cheers & Hoppy Trails,
Leah and Kira
